Bücherhöhle

The offerings of the Bücherhöhle (our school library) have steadily expanded. Since 2008, Jennyfer Brado has taken over the coordination of the Bücherhöhle at Schule am Budenberg. Pupils have the opportunity to borrow the following media: magazines (BIMBO and GEOLINO), books, non-fiction books and CDs. The collection is regularly used by the pupils. For example, to conduct research for lessons or to access more reading material for their leisure time. Colleagues also make use of the media on offer at the Bücherhöhle. Thanks to the wide range, everyone finds something.

In addition, topic-specific and needs-based book packages are put together for classroom use.
The use of media supports the learning process effectively. The intention of the Bücherhöhle lies in promoting the joy of reading and in supporting reading practice through a sufficient supply of reading material.
The support association of Schule am Budenberg, private donations and the regularly received media cost subsidy enable an up-to-date and contemporary book collection.

Opening hours of the Bücherhöhle / organisational matters:
The Bücherhöhle has two opening times during the school morning. In addition, classes can visit the Bücherhöhle in small groups at any time.
As a rule, the various media can be borrowed for a period of 14 days. The loan can be extended if needed. To ensure sufficient transparency and reliability, the lending process is supported by an index card system.
