Information letter to parents from Ms Gabriel:
Dear parents and guardians,
my name is Saskia Gabriel. I am a childhood, wilderness and experiential educator, a systemic business coach and a systemic constellation facilitator. I am also the mother of two wonderful children. Since May 2024, I have been working as a school social worker at Schule am Budenberg. My work is part of the youth welfare service – my employer is the St. Elisabeth-Verein.
My responsibilities include, among others:
- Counselling, support and guidance for pupils, parents and teachers in everyday school life and in conflict and crisis situations
- Individual support and assistance services
- Open offerings, project work, individual, group and class activities in the recreational, experiential, preventive or social fields
- (Inter)action activities and regular break-time meet-ups
- Cooperation with counselling services for education and participation, family and parenting counselling, addiction counselling, employment counselling, schools and youth welfare
As school social worker, I am the contact person for your children, for you as parents and guardians, and for all teachers.
Please feel free to come to me if you are concerned about your child’s development or if you would like advice on parenting and coping with everyday life. I am also here for you if you need support in family or school-related crisis or conflict situations.
My services are always voluntary – your concerns will always be treated confidentially.
