Therapies

Therapy Services at the Schule am Budenberg

Since the 2017/2018 school year, our students have had the opportunity to receive individual therapeutic treatments such as Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy. This takes place in cooperation with the external therapy practices listed below. Your child requires a medical prescription from a paediatrician or specialist physician for this. The therapy is then billed through the health insurance.

Experienced therapists work with the children during the school day in a therapy room specially set up for this purpose. The close cooperation between teachers and therapists enables a good exchange and a tight integration of lessons and therapy. This means your child and you are spared additional therapy appointments after a long school day. As parents, you maintain contact with the therapy practice. If your child cannot attend a therapy session (e.g. due to illness, a school trip, etc.), you as parents cancel the appointment at the practice.
The therapy appointments during the school day are coordinated between the class team and the therapy practice, so that your child does not miss any important learning content in class.
